Yoga Takes me out of my head and away from overwhelming thoughts.

In movement I feel free and light, my tension lifts when I am focused on the 'now' as apposed to my past or future.

The feeling of calmness is euphoric, so much so I wish others to reap in its benefits.

My classes are adapted to the individual; I am experienced in teaching yoga for rehabilitation after illness / injury.

All group sessions vary dependent on the group, a fusion of flow and restorative stretch is offered to suit all abilities, beginner to advanced level.

"Additional professional training in Post, Pre-Natal Yoga, Children and Teen Yoga."

Gentle exercise whilst pregnant is recommended, yoga compliments the trimester changes offering stretch and relaxation.

I can help you during your pregnancy, learning controlled breathing to calm the adrenals. 

I teach yoga in schools and have noticed the benefits immensely for all children including those with learning difficulties.

In a world which is consistently changing we know that yoga at home proved popular during the pandemic for physical and mental health.

There is also benefits to attending a studio group session in a community hub that is a social outlet. 

 

I am a known freelance teacher for many studios, health clubs and corporate companies throughout Surrey, and Hampshire.

Whilst some of these locations are for members only, there is opportunity to join drop-in classes with me in Camberley and Tongham weekly. 

I base my private classes and other wellness treatments in Southwood, Farnborough in a peaceful setting at the, Zen Holistic Studio. 

 

Yoga is a journey of self-discovery; we give time for self and with greater awareness we begin to find contentment.

 

My ethos is to guide and demonstrate the fundamental principles required in yoga to connect with the body and mind as one.

HOW TO BALANCE THE CHAKRAS... 

Chakra refers to the internal body system, it is a Sanskrit term used to describe subtle energies.

If we create energy externally through breathe, speech and movement, the affects of our emotions we retain. 

This is why in the physical body we might feel tension / tightness, each chakra corresponds to certain organs.

To put it simply if we are not in harmony with self a chakra can be over active or under active, balanced, open or blocked. 

You will be aware of dysfunction as the body reacts and shows signs of discomfort. 

The number of chakras varies, most include six chakras of awakening and the crown top chakra completes the seventh.
